Our Story
Shortly after our founding director Oostwald Eksteen returned to his homeland South Africa from practicing structural engineering in the United Kingdom, he realized the need for a niche specialist structural engineering consultancy that can exercise high-level skills using a hybrid of international and local engineering knowledge to serve a distinct client base.
Xtentia was established in 2012 and have assisted clients with excellence in design, innovation, quality and cost-effective structural engineering solutions. Our relationships with our clients are rooted in mutual trust and integrity, serving as the intrinsic basis for the projects we undertake.

Our Approach
We approach each project with a unique set of solutions to achieve the best possible results. We use an integrated Autodesk BIM Suite including Revit software to provide quality designs with accurate detailing and documentation. We design with practicality in mind, yet continuously strive to think differently in search of creativity and innovation that can add value to our client’s projects.
